How does it work?

Laser light is absorbed by collagen in the deepest layer of skin which stimulates the collagen to grow. The skin plumps from the inside out, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. You will also experience a superficial tightening and toning of the skin. Your Millcreek Laser Cosmetics professional will analyze your skin and help you select the most effective treatment plan for you.

When will you see results?

Effects are cumulative. Toning and tightening will be evident immediately after treatment, while deeper wrinkle reduction is more subtle and will take up to three months. With each subsequent treatment, subtle changes will accumulate until you have reached the improvement you desire. You will continue to see settle benefits for several months after your treatment series.

How often can you have it done?

A series of three to six treatments, spaced three to four weeks apart is our standard recommendation. Occasionally, more treatments may be needed for certain conditions. Periodic maintenance treatments may be prescribed for optimal, lasting results.

What can you expect immediately post treatment?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience some redness and very minor swelling, typically only over the cheekbones. These side effects usually resolve within a few hours. Makeup can be applied immediately. Additionally, hair growth may be impaired in the treated area, although it isn't the intended purpose of this treatment.

How long does it take?

Treatment time depends on the area to be treated. Small specific areas like the mouth, can take as little as 15 minutes, where the entire face takes about an hour. We recommend a topical anesthetic is applied 30-45 minutes before your treatment time for maximum comfort.
